The amount of data published to the web on a daily basis is mind boggling. Ten years ago you’d need to be a certified computer geek to update a web page. Now all you need is a Twitter account and you can start spamming the Internet with every moment of your life. Blogging is now the norm: we Twitter the mundane, we post rants and stories, we publish photos and videos from our phones and so we report on the world around us.
