Have an idea for a 10 minutes short film Drama or Documentary? Film it, upload it to YouTube and submit it to the Iowa Short Film and Script-Writing Contest. Or if you’re not an aspiring director, write the script and submit it to the film festival – two winning scripts will be translated to film by experienced directors.

I had been looking forward to the “All Things Italian” Art Walk since last June’s event was over.  Our family had so much fun, and so much delicious food, that we all had been anticipating this year’s event.  Perhaps that was part of my problem…perhaps I over-inflated how great it was in my memory.  Perhaps attendance to this years event was much higher.  Or perhaps this year’s event was harder to enjoy because I had a six year old holding my hand, and a 16 month old and a 2 year old toddler in a gigantic, awkward double-stroller, on top of being five months pregnant!
