Radiance Dairy Now Has Chocolate Cows

Radiance Dairy Now Has Chocolate CowsI’ve often told the story of how Fairfield Iowa’s Radiance Dairy got me drinking milk again .  I really don’t know how much their milk costs because I absolutely have to have it – it’s a staple around my house.  Standing at the open fridge and guzzling out of the jug are one of the few things left for this 40 year old that make me feel 18 again.

Radiance Dairy milk is healthy, local, fresh and most importantly – absolutely delicious.

I guess it was just a matter of time until they starting making chocolate milk.  I now have two jugs of Radiance Dairy milk in my fridge – one brown and one white.  I’m not sure how to organize my milk drinking now.  Is the chocolate milk reserved for lunch, or a mid afternoon snack?  It seems a little inappropriate (as Dad to a 5yr old) to have it for dinner with lasagna, or even in the morning with a bowl of cereal and coffee.

Oh my, that gives me an idea – I bet it would taste good with a bowl of O’s!

Radiance Dairy you are evil.

I tried to be the fun Daddy when I got home with the jug of chocolate milk.  “Look at this!” I said holding up the jug, “Radiance Dairy now has chocolate cows!”  My daughter looked me straight in the face, with a look of concern, “Um Daddy, they don’t have chocolate cows.  Here’s how they do it: they get the regular milk, and then they drop in chocolate bars, and they wait till those spread around.”
