This weekend Fairfield Voice launched a beta version of our new Classified Ads site. There are some small bugs that need to be fixed, but you can now register and post ads for free.
The new Classified Ads site offers:
- Free classified ad posting.
- Integration with Social Media tools – your ads can be easily shared on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
- Buyers can email you from the ad.
- Option to have your address shown on Google Maps – perfect for Garage Sales.
- Ads utilize current Search Engine Optimization technologies for greater reach – include tags/keywords to your job postings for longer reach on the web.
- All ad postings are automatically published to Twitter.
As an example of the power of our new Classified Ad system. I posted my own ad for a used Home Theater Receiver and then used the “Share This” button to add it to my Facebook profile. Within the hour it was sold via the Facebook link.
